Morgan Lewis partner Stephanie Feingold spoke with Bloomberg Law about the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) decision to reduce or suspend some Superfund site cleanup work in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Stephanie discussed the memo announcing the decision and force majeure. “It’s the type of thing you typically see for a hurricane or a tornado, where you know exactly what it is,” she said in the article. “In the present situation, it’s a lot more nebulous because it’s more widespread, and it’s unclear how long it will last.”
