Matthew H. Lewis counsels private and public companies and investors throughout the United States and abroad on corporate and securities matters. His practice focuses on formation, venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and general corporate counseling. His clientele spans a diverse range of industries including technology, finance, media, life sciences, and energy. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Matthew worked in the corporate practice groups of a California law firm and a global law firm.
Matthew leverages his decade-long career at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) prior to practicing law when advising clients on a wide range of business, regulatory, and corporate governance matters. While working for PG&E and attending law school at night, Matthew served as the editor-in-chief of the University of San Francisco Law Review.
