Our Paris team advises on domestic and cross-border matters in France and around the world, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues in offices across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East to serve our clients’ needs. Our lawyers are trusted advisers to organizations ranging from multinational companies and financial institutions to entrepreneurs and medium-sized businesses across the full industry spectrum, with particular strength in the technology, fintech, commodity, energy, petrochemical, and construction sectors.

We represent clients in public and private domestic and cross-border corporate matters, including M&A and private equity, contract, asset management including fund formation and alternative investment management, banking and finance including regulatory guidance, intellectual property and privacy, tax, project development, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general corporate advisory. We also have assisted with projects in more than 40 African countries for clients operating in or seeking to capitalize on Africa’s tremendous growth.

Our team advocates vigorously for clients in a range of international business disputes, with a particular focus on complex commercial litigation. We also handle international arbitration and insolvency-related disputes, as well as corporate compliance and investigations. Our experience includes representing clients in disputes involving industrial risks, commercial contracts, banking, bankruptcy, construction, and real estate portfolio management.

We guide French and global companies through multijurisdictional employment issues, including trade union and employee representative law, outsourcing, individual and collective dismissals, executive terminations, and other employment matters arising in M&A, restructurings, and other reorganizations. We also assist in establishing pension, employee savings, and social plans, and regularly provide guidance and legal representation in labor dispute litigation.

Effective January 1, 2025, Morgan Lewis will significantly expand its presence and capabilities with the addition of a 54-strong lawyer team in Paris. Read more in our announcement.
