PHILADELPHIA, July 2, 2025 – Marking the 20th year of its Innovative Lawyers program, Financial Times has selected Morgan Lewis Chair Jami McKeon as one of the most consequential leaders of the past two decades. The special Innovative Lawyers: 20 Years retrospective report highlights 100 individuals across five categories who have “epitomize[d] how the legal sector has changed.” Ms. McKeon was one of only two women chairs honored in the Law Firm Leaders category, recognized for having led Morgan Lewis to “elite law firm status.”
Culled from 20 years of the FT Innovative Lawyers series, the honorees “reflect a period of globalization, growth, and technological disruption” and represent extraordinary innovators who have been ranked and awarded across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Ms. McKeon previously was the recipient of a Special Achievement Award from FT in 2015 in recognition of her innovative approach to strategic growth. She was selected for leading in her first year as Chair one of the largest lateral moves in the history of the legal profession through the firm’s combination with Bingham McCutchen, as well as the firm’s groundbreaking combination with Singapore’s Stamford Law (now Morgan Lewis Stamford).
The individual and law firm award winners were honored as part of the FT global summit at London’s The Peninsula Hotel and recognized in the publication’s June 25 edition.
In addition to FT, Ms. McKeon recently has received a series of recognitions, including being named an honoree of the American Bar Association’s Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement; selected by Lawdragon to its Hall of Fame and among the 100 Managing Partners You Need to Know; and named to Philadelphia Business Journal’s Power 100: Philadelphia’s Most Influential Business Leaders.
