Managing partner of the firm’s Beijing office, Ning advises clients on transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and capital markets, including in the United States and Hong Kong. He has handled complex cross-border transactions involving both private and listed companies. Ning often advises Chinese companies on all stages of their development and global expansion, and represents international financial institutions, sovereign and private equity funds, and multinational corporations in their investments, acquisitions, and exits in the Greater China region and across the globe.
His work highlights include advising Silk Road Fund on its participation in global investor consortiums’ acquisition of a stake in Aramco’s gas and oil pipelines, representing SheIn in its multiple-billion dollars of financing from leading investors, representing Warburg Pincus for its leveraged buyout and trade sale of Leyou, a leading maternity-infant-children retailer in China, and HongShan Capital in connection with its various investments and acquisitions including its investment in leading e-bike company Aventon.
