- The San Francisco and Palo Alto offices were selected by the Bar Association of San Francisco to receive The Bar Association of San Francisco’s Volunteer Legal Services Program’s 2006 Outstanding Law Firm in Public Service Award.
- San Francisco attorneys Jay DeGooyer and Michael Monagle were each selected by the Bar Association of San Francisco to receive the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award for 2006.
- The New York office received the Outstanding Volunteer Award for 2006 from Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, New York.
- Philadelphia attorney Polly Hayes was named Volunteer of the Year by the Campaign for Working Families for her work with the Earned Income Tax Credit clinic.
- Philadelphia attorneys Karen Pohlmann and Brian Watson received the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s 2006 Pro Bono Award.
- New York attorneys Miriam Levin and Joshua Pepper are among the Sanctuary for Families’ 2006 Honorees for Excellence in Pro Bono Advocacy.
- Washington attorneys Margery Friedman and Charles Groppe received the Richard Scrivener Beatty Rosemount Benefactor Award from the House of Mercy’s Rosemount Center.
- Philadelphia paralegals Florence Bristow and Andrea Preate and of counsel Ken Kulak received awards at the Homeless Advocacy Project’s 2006 Volunteer Awards Luncheon.
- Philadelphia attorney Karen Pohlmann was recognized as a Distinguished Advocate by the Support Center for Child Advocates.
- The Los Angeles office was presented the Corporate Citizenship Award from People Organized for Westside Renewal (POWER) in recognition of outstanding commitment shown by a corporate partner in supporting POWER in its fight for social justice.
