Jasmeen Bahous focuses her practice on European Union (EU) and French merger control and competition law including cartel investigations, antitrust compliance, and State aid rules. She has been involved in several complex merger control cases requiring multijurisdictional approvals across a range of industries, including telecoms, IT, aviation, automotive, and insurance.
She also assists clients in consumer protection matters such as class action cases and other commercial litigation before national and EU courts.
Jasmeen regularly works on EU regulatory matters involving digital regulation (including the Artificial Intelligence Act, Digital Markets Act, and Digital Services Act), cybersecurity, and privacy. She also advises on international supply chain regulation (including the Critical Raw Materials Act and prohibition of Forced Labour Products).
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Jasmeen worked at the European Commission’s DG COMP in antitrust and consumer protection cases. She is fluent in French, English, German, and Italian and has basic knowledge of Swiss-German and Russian.
